So i'm taking summer school this summer.
U.S. history.

It's five hours of fast, five days a week for five weeks.

It is i n t e n s e.
But i really like the teacher, and i found a friend i used to go to school with and some friends of friends i've seen at birthday parties over the years.

So worse things have happened.

i just miss having a summer.

Last June, i was sleeping until at least latelate afternoon, then vegging on the computer until early morning. Every day.
i didn't so much as look at a pair of shoes all month long.

This June, i got an average of about three hours of sleep a night; five days a week, i sat in a classroom half the day, put off my homework the rest of the day, then fell asleep taking notes on the Civil War and the Industrial Revolution (we're now into the Progressive Era).

UGH.
And then there's this SAT prep class our mothers are making us take.
At least Yanz, Katelyn, and i can be miserable together...

Rex makes that class almost worth it, though. Hilarious.


It is very super nice to finallyfinally have a boyfriend, even if i can't see him often.
Texting every second we can does help..


Ah, well.
It'll be over soon enough, and then i'll be able to appreciate even more what summer i have.
