Literature Text

You catch his eye, hear your heart race;
turn coyly 'round, begin the chase.
He smiles, your blood flows...
...and next thing you know,
you've tripped, fallen flat on your face.
Ah, young love...

*

This is accidentally dedicated to Katelyn.
It turned out to be about her.

Hmm. I thought that I had seen something similar-ish in our two (old) galleries.

Only mine is sad, and not nearly as well written (what's new?). P=

I can really say, that while this doesn't have the same depth that some of your other work does, it makes me giggle. no. chuckle? (chortle, maybe?) And laughter is sometimes all that should really matter.

p.s.- I've also read the falling flat on your face part as a romantic reference to falling in love HARD. I liked that (perhaps unintended) analogy.
