The use of two photos really works to your pieces advantage in this instance. The two perspectives play off one another, enhancing the lines of each photograph, almost creating a optical illusion. It creates a sense of curving in the lines. The pastels and subtle hues give the sense of an early dawn or sunrise. I especially love the soft focus in the photo to the right. If I could change one thing, I would extend the white border on the vertical, but don't separate the two. The pair were meant for one another, as I'm sure was your intent.
